    Staging Modes Explained

Understand restyle vs. empty-room staging and when to use each.

    Two main modes

Restyle (room already furnished) Keeps the architecture and replaces the existing furniture with the style you choose. Best for occupied homes that just need a refreshed look.

Empty-room staging Fully furnishes a vacant room from scratch — sofa, table, rug, art, lamps. Essential for vacant or new-build properties.

    Reference-image styling

Upload an inspiration photo and Lumistate will extract the style (palette, materials, density) and apply it to your room.

    Pair with Declutter

If a room has too much existing furniture, run **Declutter** first to clean it up, then **Stage** to restyle. Each tool is a separate version, so you can always roll back.
